Slight technical problem

Good flick. My only major concern is, as was stated earlier, SARS is occurring primarily in China. Yet again, i like the concept, though perhaps i would have found it more appealing if you had the ghost of Mao Zedong (or Tse Tung ... whichever you prefer) rise up and put the smack down on SARS. Maybe in a future rendition? If you [or anyone else who reads this review] actually were to do such a thing you might want to check out the submission "MAO Better" on Newgrounds for some background and a silly dance. It's not mine. The image of Mao and that Flash popped in my head when i was thinking of possible Chinese icons that could fight SARS. Anyway, i digress. Good piece nonetheless.

An aesthetic point

Fix their eyes and maybe get their giggles and screams in there an it would be perfect.

Slow down the titles

Otherwise great. The embrace was beautiful.

One point ... well maybe two.

i'd have to concur with the hair issue. Presidents get grayer even whiter with the hair as the go along in their terms.

The other thing is that despite what the prior reviewer said, Bin Laden is exponentially more important that Saddam.

Technical Suggestion

You need to fill in the collars of the two tenors on the right.

Preach on preacher

Hallelujah and Holy Shit!! i feel that piece. There should be a section on NG that only people who make Flashes should be allowed to go to vote. Or their votes should be worth more.

Anyway ... i digress. Great stuff.

One suggestion

i like the Riding Hood in the write-up. Perhaps you should make her synch up with the one in the actual piece. Like she could have flashbacks--graphically violent flashbacks if you like even. Not the prettified portrayals of Grandma swallowed whole and still alive after the Wolf is cut open, but something more sinister and gruesome. Thus we would get the sense of her mindfucking. And maybe you could have some shots of her walking around in like a black velvet robe with a hood obscuring most of her face. Well maybe a dark, dark red. i like the idea; there are just so many ways that you can go with it. The concept is strong, it just needs to be fleshed out [if you will] more. Oh, one more thing ... the Wolf outside of the closet should probably look a bit more vicious. i realize your probably still working on your artistic development, but Riding looks solid--especially her face. And so does the rest of the room. At any rate, work with this some more.

One suggestion

Names for the characters [maybe at the beginnng as you're flipping through them ... even quick like that] would be nice.

thelads responds:

Hey, no problem, the characters names will be more appaerant in future episodes, but im sure i could add em to the intro...cheers

Medium is better than the message

Though i don't agree with the message of this piece it's actually quite good otherwise. Aurally it is strong, graphics are quite good. The only thing i might suggest is developing actual caricatures of Powell, Blair, W, Saddam and so on--much like you did with the Iraqis. The only things i caught that makes me wonder if this is a subtle backhand to the Adminstration are the references to imperialism (cultural, economic or otherwise) when the bombs drop and Iraq is turned into cornucopia of corporate insurgence. Probably just reading into it too much.
